or generic form of my medication?
All drugs offered under
the Medicine Assistance Program are brand name only.
How many different
medications are offered under these programs?
Over 1,200 brand name
medications are offered under this program.
What happens if my
medication is not offered under MAP?
If this should happen,
you simply ask your doctor who, in many cases, may be able to prescribe
an alternate drug that will qualify.
If I am receiving drugs
under the MAP program, can my spouse be considered as well?
Certainly, as long as he
or she fills out the proper paperwork.
Do I need the cooperation
of my doctor?
Yes, for MAP, your doctor
must sign the completed paperwork and be willing to accept your
medications for you to participate in these programs.
How will I get my
medications?
MAP medications will be
shipped from the pharmaceutical company directly to your prescribing
doctor’s office for you to pick up.
How long should I expect
from my date of application to when I can pick up my medications from my
doctor?
FullCircle Prescription
Services will act quickly to be sure you receive your medication in
about 10-12 weeks. Once the application is approved and you begin your
regular schedule then the renewal order period is 3-4 weeks.
Is there a limit to the
number of medications I can have under the MAP program?
No, as long as all
medications are prescribed for you by your physician and the drug
companies support that medication.
Once I am accepted into
the MAP program, is there a limit on how long I can participate?
No, most MAP programs are
indefinite as long as you continue to meet their eligibility
requirements and the medication continues to be on their program list.
How will I know when to
renew my medications?
After you have used 30-45
days of your medication call FullCircle Prescription Services, Inc. for
your re-fill order.
Are any of my
prescriptions in MAP imported?
Yes, as we have discussed
in this web site, most drugs are manufactured in other countries. In
the MAP program they are imported company to company and then shipped
out from the pharmaceutical companies in the US directly to your doctor.
